  • Clean-Up in Paphos by City Friends Club

Date: October 3

Place: Asprokremmos Dam

Time: From 8.30 am

Asprokremmos Dam is a beautiful spot and a vital water source for Paphos.
The plan is simple: show up, see the site, and conquer the cleanup.
The DJ is in charge of the dance vibes.

  • Making Natural Beeswax Salves Workshop

Dates: October 3, October 17, October 24, October 31

Place: Oros Maxaira

Fee: Half programme

Ages 12+: €10Ages 4–11: €6 Under 4: Free

Ages 12+: €20Ages 4–11: €15 Under 4: Free

During the workshop, participants will follow the preparation process together step by step and each participant makes their own natural beeswax salve, while learning more about the ingredients we use and their role in the final product.

At the end of the workshop, every participant takes home the salve they made, free of charge, as a special keepsake from their experience in the world of the bee.

  • Log Cabin Quilt Workshop

Organizer: Bridging the Green Gap

Log Cabin is one of the most well-known traditional patchwork designs. This technique is based on placing strips of fabric around a centerpiece, creating a design reminiscent of the wooden beams of a shed.

  • Quilt in a Day

Organizer: Bridging the Green Gap

Date: October 11

Time: 16:00-19:00

Place: University of Cyprus

Creative workshop during which you will learn the Quilt as You Go technique, using leftover fabrics and giving them a second life. Free to join. The registration is necessary via the link

  • Bringing Energy Down to Earth: Seminar

Date: October 12

Time: 19:00

Place: Corner of Ellados and Enoseos streets, 3041 Limassol, Cyprus

The “Bringing Energy Down to Earth” seminar will confront the hidden material, political, and ecological costs of our modern energy systems. The event challenges dominant techno-positivist myths and will explore how creative practices can reshape our relationship with a finite planet.

  • Power Lines Exhibition

Date: October 13- November 6

Place: Corner of Ellados and Enoseos streets, 3041 Limassol, Cyprus

“Power Lines” is an exhibition that brings together experimental and artistic works that examine the far-reaching impacts of the green energy transition on landscapes, communities and ways of living. The exhibition confronts the transition’s broken promises while also investigating what an energy future that respects our planet’s finite resources might look like.

  • Natural Plastering Workshop

Organizers: Olivia Ioannou and Nikiforos Papoutsopoulos

Place: Ayia Marina Chrysochous, Paphos

Five hands-on days of traditional, natural building – plastering the floor and walls of a kitchen built with the wattle and daub method, using eco-friendly techniques passed down through generations.

Whether you’re a curious beginner or already dreaming of natural building, this workshop welcomes you exactly as you are. No previous experience or knowledge required.

  • Waste on the Island

Date: October 17

Place: Dimarchou Lellou Demetriadi Square, Nicosia

Organizer: CYENS – Thinker Maker Space

CYENS Thinker Maker Space is hosting “Waste on the Island” on 17 October, 16:00–17:00.

It’s based on new research into how rubbish was handled in Cyprus, particularly in colonial-era Nicosia, and examines the historical roots of Cyprus’s waste problem.

It’s an unusual sustainability event because it connects waste, history and urban development rather than simply presenting recycling advice.

Place: Evlogia Concept workshop studio at Agios Filaxeos

The Living Garden – A Seasonal Planting Experience: A hands-on gathering celebrating the rhythm of the seasons. Participants work with soil and carefully selected plants, guided through composition, spacing, light and longevity. Each creates a living arrangement to take home. (fee: 65 euro)

The Flower Anthoforía – A Floral Composition Experience: Create your own composition to take home while learning, connecting, and working with seasonal flowers. (fee: 85€ )

A hands-on workshop celebrating the art of bread-making. Guests explore the fundamentals of dough, texture, and composition through a guided, tactile process. Each participant prepares their own fresh bread to bake and take home. (fee: 55€)

  • Kindness to Animals Event – Limassol

Organizer: Kids for Kindness

Time: 2-5 pm

Meeting point: Saint Georgios Havouzas Church Hall

Alongside the parallel mission in Paphos, this special initiative aims to raise awareness of the incredible work carried out by local animal charities and shelters. Most importantly, the organizers want to help children understand the positive difference they can make by donating much-needed items and spending time caring for animals.
