The Municipality of Limassol is moving forward with exploring interest in the creation of an Energy Community for Limassol and invites citizens, businesses, and organizations to express their interest by completing a relevant questionnaire.
An Energy Community is a collective energy management model that allows citizens, businesses, and public bodies to produce, share, and benefit from renewable energy sources at the local level, reducing energy costs and strengthening the local economy.
This initiative is part of the Municipality’s strategic plan to achieve climate neutrality by 2030 and reflects its commitment to promoting practical and sustainable solutions in the field of the Energy Transition.
