Third Renaissance FairPyrga, 17th of October 2026

On Saturday, October 17, Pyrga village invites visitors of all ages to the third Renaissance Fair.

Attendees will have the opportunity to experience a special journey back in time, filled with music, dance, impressive historical reenactments, and entertaining activities for the whole family.

Queen Catherine Cornaro and her entourage will lead the grand parade, accompanied by the spectacular Italian flag bearers Sbandieratori Castiglion Fiorentino and medieval fighters. Flag-waving displays, reenactments of historical battles, and a rich artistic program will follow,
bringing the atmosphere of the Renaissance to life in a unique way.

Throughout the day, visitors will be invited to participate in a wide range of activities, including medieval battles, archery, horse rides, and games.
The fair will also feature an outdoor market offering local products and handicrafts, a walk around the venue featuring historic monuments and natural scenery, and food and drinks provided by local businesses.

The event is organised by the Community Council of Pyrga. It is funded by the programme ‘Leader 2023-2027’ through the Larnaca and Famagusta Districts Development Agency (ANETEL), Latomio Pyrgon Ltd and Skyra Lima Ltd and supported by the Laona Foundation, Fill n’ GO gas station Pyrga and EKO gas station Kornos.
