Every month I will try to research and bring together the events related to sustainability happening in Cyprus. Here’s a quick guide to what’s happening in December 2025.
1. Clean-Ups by City Friends Club
City Friends Club is hosting two community clean-ups this month:
- Paphos — December 6
- Larnaca — December 13

2. 4th Cyprus ESG Forum — December 10, Nicosia
Held at 360 Nicosia, organized by Boussias, this forum brings together companies, professionals and policymakers to discuss:
- Sustainable business strategies
- Climate action and energy transition

- Responsible governance and transparency

3. Festive Ferments Workshop – 7th of December, Limassol
Organized by Agno Grocery. You can give something truly unique this holiday season. In this festive, practical workshop, you’ll learn how to make:
– Preserved Lemons: bright and aromatic, perfect for savoury dishes.
– Mulled Wine Essence – a fragrant, spiced ferment that makes a cozy winter drink or gift.

4. Zero Carbon Footprint Buildings: what are the new requirements of EPBD – 10-11 December, Nicosia

Organized by Ideopsis. This training seminar explores the revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD 2024/2025) and the major changes it introduces to the design, evaluation, and certification of buildings across Europe. More details about the event can be found here.
5. Energy Demand Management Technologies: Improving Energy Efficiency – 15-16 December, Nicosia

6. Ceramic Festival by Claytopia – 13 December, Nicosia
